Common Branch Herb School is a grassroots herbal classroom that offers an innovative program: basic herbal education for free, as a community service.
A branch is a limb, a bough, an arm, an offshoot; it's a conceptual division of something, a lateral extension of a road or river. This is the path we travel together, in common: grassroots herbalism, wellness, and community.
Common Branch exists to promote herbs as the common knowledge that they once were, and as a way to safeguard community health and resilience. More people than ever are interested in learning to use herbs as part of a healthy lifestyle to care for themselves and their loved ones; and they are interested in finding the traditional roots of health that have been lost with the rise of modern lifestyles.
Founding herbalist Agatha Noveille believes that there is a need for common sense, quality herbal education that is accessible to everyone. Through Common Branch, she hopes to make it available to any community that has a need.
If you are a school, church, or community organization and are interested in hosting a Common Branch Workshop, please get in touch! We would love to work with you!
